Ekkies love kids. Mine has become my son's homework and tv partner. They like to just sit and be there with them. Mine also go cuddles every bedtime. When my son goes to be he takes Perry and they sleep together for awhile. Perry will lay across my son's neck and sleep until I come in to put him in his cage for the night. I do this for a few reasons and one is to get Perry intune with our schedule. Parrots are flock animals and will follow the flock....you sleep, I sleep. Also, it allows Perry to understand that my son is part of his flock. It's there time together.
Just thought I would add that.
