VERY INTERESTING. If you scroll down the message board you have probably read my concerns regarding this same matter. Sophie is an angel with me,I can pet her, hug her, give kisses, play with her feet, scratch under her wings, she lets me do just about anything, but won't let my daughter or husband near her again. I spoke with a breeder who has the opinion and 15yrs.experience that eclectus babies are very bitey, but they out grow it. The bigger parrots as babies are not bitey but grow into becoming biters. She was surprised that no one mentioned this on the board. I personally would rather go through this stage with a baby(a little less painful! lol!)especially if later years will most likely be mellow. I would love to hear what you all feel about the comment this breeder made. It has helped us to keep a positive attitude and not to stop working with our unpredictable Sophie.
