(bigger cage, but easier to clean.) Well, therre is no way to possibly make his cage escape proof, so he basically can get out of his cage anytime he wants to. I blanketed the room with washable area rugs, but I have not found a way to keep him in the cage (he never demonstrated his abilities of escape previously when int hat cage).
I cannot buy another cage, as they are way too expensive, and I am saving for my wedding. ($500 + is nothing to sniff at)
I am afraid to buy metal wire to place around his cage, as I fear of poisoning him.
I also want to mention that he was previously one of the nicest birds. We bonded quite well, and he LOVED to be petted under his wings and around his neck area. He loves to cuddle, which I have heard is uncommon for them to be so cuddly.
How could he feed and groom me one day, and then suddenly hate me? he attacks me with such vehemence that he has and will draw blood. he beats his head on the floor and growls like a dog.
I want my bird back. I feel like I am living witht he exorcist bird!
Sorry to be such a whiner, but I am upset by this behavior.
