You should put him in the living room, and you can always get a nighttime "sleeper" cage for him and put it in the bedroom.
: We're moving this coming weekend from an apartment to a two-story house. My big dilema is where to put the my male Zimba's cage. In the living room or in the bedroom upstairs? The living room will be more busy, but what if we're still up during his bedtime. I also have two boxers. The bedroom is good but he might feel left out at times. Does anyone have an opinion?
: Right now his cage is in the study of our apartment, but he has a clear view into the living room, kitchen, etc.
