OATMEAL RECIPE
Boil 3 stalks of millet for 15 minutes then let sit in the hot water for 20 minutes and take out of the water. Put 2 cut up sweet potatoes and 2 large cut up carrots in the millet water and boil until soft. Add more water as needed. Remove potatoes and carrots and add whole oats oatmeal to the boiling water. Let this cook until done. Mash up the carrots and sweet potatoes and mix into the oatmeal. Pull the millet off the stem and add this to the oatmeal. Add 1-2 soft bananas depending on how much oatmeal you are making. To this I will add pomegranate seeds or cranberries. Since I have a lot of pomegranate I have been adding this. Recently I added some of my frozen cranberries to cool it down. Hope you all enjoy:) Carrie and the Crew |
